    1. Wigstock Shirts/Pride Buttons and Shirts
      1. Vice President could not receive emails from Site until last night
      2. Button Star will be giving us a quote
  • Have not heard from Tammy for Wigstock shirts, needs to be contacted

Motion to approve Pride Shirt (mask with paint splash not the palette) with revisions Made by Renee Second by Lee Passes

    2. Talk to April about mobile clinic and extra rooms
  2. Fundraisers
    1. No response from Duane, Abuelos, Coleman however they will be sending an email to the Wichita facility with Renee’s contact information
    2. Have not heard from Cargill about meat for picnic
  • Yard Sale coming up on May 16th, need at least 10 tables by the 15th, also needing hangers
    1. Will be making signs and getting a new counterfeit pen

    1. 1,857.87 in the bank, owe 300 to the MAAIC
    2. Have not received check from Buffalo Wild Wings
    3. Received check from the Waterwalk and Rain for their ads in the Pride Guide
    4. Have a 5 dollar purchase on pay pal for a “two wheel entry” which may be for a parade permit
    5. Need to put 501c3 and tax exempt number on WPI Invoice form

        1. There are currently no laws regulating e cigs so no new licensing is required unless they are selling outside where a TML is needed
        2. Hookahs can be sold, however anything resembling drug paraphernalia cannot be sold
        3. Start looking at an Adults Only section
      2. State Farm
        1. Local rep contacted, will be meeting outside of meeting times and they will be coming to the next meeting
      3. Vice President
        1. Contacted Radio people, will have a 5% damage waiver for the radios. Got them for a week rental. Will be 240 dollars for the week, another 60 for the Bluetooth headsets.
        2. Porter Potties, want to use half the number as last year. Will use 5 regular and 1 handicap for quotes

  • Have used 20 trash carts the previous 2 years, will use the same this year
  1. Pride pageant dates will be August 27th, Hoffman came up with a fundraiser as a Swimming Pool Movie, will be marketed as a Food Event with video entertainment. DJ Michael will run the video equipment. Will have popcorn, setting a 5 dollar price

    1. AARP would like to sponsor the Cosmic Bowling Event, have not heard back from them.
      1. Not sure they understand how the event works, or if we could have a banner there
      2. Already asked about Memorandum of Understanding

    2. Kansas City Pride: Diversity Coalition will be hosting June 20th and 21st
  • Kansas Star still not turned in
  1. Entertainment
    1. Women Without Pursues is confirmed for the Block Party, will be roughly 250 dollars, will be allowed to set up and sell CDs if they choose
  2. Communications
    1. Met with Janice Friesen and Roger Carvalo last Monday to talk about different marketing ideas
      1. Pandora radio advertising is really cheap, and you can specify the age group and genre of music
      2. Would like to bring author Matthew Vines as a speaker, need to figure out how to use this
      3. Also need to look at iHeart radio prices
      4. Look at getting ahold of Denise Neal who is the entertainment person at the Eagle
      5. Look into getting a Twitter, talk to Brent about this
      6. Talk to John DeAngelo at City of Wichita to see what they can do
      7. Talk to Visitors and Convention center about posting our events
      8. Look at static clings for the car
    2. If Pride agrees to the Platinum Package for the Gayly, they will get a centerfold

Motion to amend previous motion to give Gayly a Gold Sponsorship package made on 7 April 2014 to a Platinum Sponsorship package, including a center ad in the Pride Guide for advertisement in the Gayly in lieu of money Made Lee, Second Rollin Passes

    2. Talked to Bodyguards, they have a new executive director, will also be doing an ad in the Pride Guide

    1. Sound System
      1. Russell is willing to rent us his DJ equipment as long as we can get a DJ to run it; we have a DJ to run it.
      2. Need to have a Pride Committee member at the bar at all times, running the cash register, and answer to the Pride Board
        1. Must make sure that Russell runs through the sound system so the DJ knows how it works
  • Kayla now living in Minnesota, sent a Taylor Swift Red Package that could be used an auction item for a fundraiser on the actual Pride Friend page
