It is hoped that many will participate in expressing thoughts, insights, feelings, questions, comments, events, challenges, lessons, failure, triumphs, etc…, in the gentle, gracious manner of we people of the heartland.
WPI is experiencing an exciting and busy time. There is so much to accomplish for the Pride Festival and Parade. It is time to get posters and fliers up and about, ads and mailings out to inform the community that it’s time to plan and register to participate. Registration forms for vendors, parade entries and Pride Guide ads are all but completed. Registration forms will be mailed out to all past participants and will also be available on-line.

Wichita Pride, Inc. (WPI) experienced a remarkable growth after the 2009 Pride Festival. Through the use of our Web site, e-mail and social networking we were able to recruit more volunteers than in past years. The following meetings have seen increased regular attendance by committed members and more new comers. Our membership is at 19 and our meetings average 15 – 20 attendees. These are the largest numbers WPI or any previous Pride incarnation has experienced for any continuous period. We are excited and hopeful for this momentum.
