2010 Board of Directors & Committee Chairs:

Wichita Pride Inc.'s current Board of Directors and Committee members are all volunteers from the Wichita and surrounding communities.

They are tasked with putting together not only the Wichita Pride Festival & Parade, but also the many fund raisers and events throughout the year.

Our Board and Committee members have various experiences within the LGBT community, The Board of Directors have 1 year terms, they are voted in by the committee members in an annual election. The committee chairs are appointed by the Board of Directors and Co-Chairs are usually appointed by the chairs of the various committee's.

Bert Pearce - President:   At the age of 23, Bert accepted the responsibility of becoming President of WPI in February 2009, re-elected in July 2009 at the annual election, Bert has kept the meetings on agenda and on time. Bert comes with much experience with community organizations and in addition to working full time and volunteering for WPI, he also is involved with FMCC, Delta Lambda Phi, Safe Step Youth Focus and PFLAG: Project Acceptance. Allex Goh - Vice-President:   Allex is a recent addition to both Wichita and WPI, having moved here from California. Allex is originally from Malaysia, then attended college and graduate school in the U.S. He was an active member of the Stanford University Queer Engineers and Scientists group and volunteered for the 03 & 04 Human Rights Campaign.  Contact: Allex

Patrick Munz - Treasurer:  Pat is not a new face to the Wichita gay community. A member of FMCC since 1985, he has a BBA in accounting from Washburn University and is a whiz with numbers. Pat marched in Wichita's first gay pride parade in 1990. In addition to being WPI's treasurer, he is also the treasurer for Kansas Equality Coalition's Wichita Chapter. Contact: Pat

Mark Kahabka - Secretary:  Mark has been involved in the Wichita gay community with his partner Pat for years. He has a degree in nursing and has practiced in Wichita for 24 years. Outside of his profession, he enjoys community involvement, movies, reading, cooking and traveling. Mark has a great sense of humor and is always there ready to help and pitch in. Contact: Mark

Scott Hollander - Public Relations Officer:   Scott is a familiar face to many as a bartender for the past 2 years here in Wichita. Scott became involved with WPI after the 2008 Festival, he wanted a voice in making the Wichita Pride Festival the best it can be.
